You can use this umbrella on the patio temporarily, however, it is designed for beach use. Although they will last a good while set up permanently outside, we advise that you treat your umbrella with care and bring it inside when not in use. Always store indoors, inside the carry case in a dry area when not in use, avoid use of chemicals, spot clean with a mild, soapy water if needed, allow it to air dry completely before storing away, and keep free from any water, chlorine or salt residue.

The Amalfi Umbrella's 1 1/4" thick wood pole is sturdy by beach umbrella standards and still light enough to carry easily. The Amalfi Umbrella is available in three sizes: 5' W x 6.5' H, 6' W x 7' H, and 7.2' W x 7.2' H. The carry bags range from 42" Long, 4" Wide, 5.5 lbs to 48" Long, 4" Wide, 8 lbs and 46" Long, 7" Wide, 12 lbs. The canopy is made of 8 oz, 10 oz, or 10 oz UV/water-resistant canvas. The poles are 1", 1 1/8", or 1 1/4" thick reclaimed EcoTimber wood with adjustable or fixed tilt, and aluminum/nylon fittings. All offer UPF 50+ sun protection.
